Southampton leading 2-0 against Coventry, which would put them into the Premier League at West Ham's expense.

Cardiff trailing as they try to confirm a playoff spot, but Middlesbrough still goalless so failing to take advantage.

Keogh scores again, great to see the lad in such a rich vein of form. Obviously a confidence layer and we destroyed it great to him get it back.

Thats 10 goals in 19 games for Keogh i think. Another blunder by Mick along with his ridiculous decision to sell Maierhofer.

Seriously impressed with Hulls centre backs and right back.

Cue the goal

I'm watching the west ham game as well. They play some decent football under big sam. His teams i think still suffer from his hoofball reputation from his Bolton Days.

I think alto of it is myth, Bolton played some sublime stuff under Allardyce. JJ Okocha anyone?

Southampton 4 up and cruising into the Premier League; Cardiff now lead 2-1 at Palace to hold on to their play-off spot.

Big Sam moves a step closer to the Golden Palace with West Ham desperate to bring in D'canio

Chelsea sign Marin. Great signing.

As a big fan of the Bundesliga I am really excited this lad is coming to England. He has skill in abundance and oozes pace. The thought of him and Mata in a side is breathtaking. His crossing would be ideal for Drogba if he stays.

I've read stories and seen the odd clip of him, he looks to have great technical ability (dribbling, positional play), although I think the tag of 'the German Messi' is a bit unfair!

Could this mean Lampards time at Chelsea is coming to an end?

Just to point something else out...

West ham finish in Play offs - Sam will be sacked if they dont win.

Blackpool Are Playing Blues - One of Holloway or Hughton will be available

Yes, get Keogh back, because he's obviously so much better than Fletcher, Doyle and Ebanks-Blake.

Would have Hughton and/or Big Sam. Not much of a Holloway fan though.

Robert Green is so bad

Sounds daft but I'd have Holloway here in a heart beat, enthusiastic, plays the right sort of football and would certainly take no $$$$ from certain players.

Yeah the German Messi is a bit unfair! He reminds me more of a mix of Kinkladze and Juninho. He has all the attributes to be a top player. I think Lampard will have another year, more in the giggs/scholes mold.

Spot on.

Watching a few clips of him I always thought he was a Modric sort of player.

I thought it was Mario Gotze that Beckenbauer labelled "our Messi"?

Both get compared to Messi as both have exceptional skills. Marin is more skilful of the two in my opinion while Gotze is an exceptional passer of the ball backed up with good dribbling

Bham could go out of business if they don't win the play-offs!

It's crazy isn't it! Even if they do go up they can't buy any players until July 31st when all decent ones will have been picked up by rivals. Should be interesting summer in small heath on either outcome
