Whilst waiting for some news to break I was thinking about some of the players that we went for, missed out on and then went on to have decent careers.
The ones that came to mind...Scott Dann ( pretended to take a call from his mom), Adam Lallana ( went for the cheaper Surman option), James McCarthy (Mick thought he’d signed) , Nathaniel Clyne ( preferred to stay with relegated Palace), Harry McGuire ( Hull snaffled him), Calum Wilson (signed his salad dodging strike partner instead).

I have a similar list but cant remember most of their names . The only one that sticks in my head is Laura Hodge from Great Wyrley. I wonder what happen to her?
