I have no idea why you are arguing with me on this. Boubacar has a single senior cap for Mali, which was in November 2022. He has only been called up due to an injury crisis, including:

• Adama (Malouda) Traore
• Ibrahima Kone
• El Bilal Toure
• Cheick Doucoure

Ok. I made the thread as it was unexpected, at least to me. Perhaps an AFCON thread would have made more sense in hindsight

Never to late to change the title, an AFCON thread will be needed, maybe go wild and combine it with the Asia Cup. To be fair come 9.15 Friday it'll be that and transfers for 3 weeks, so it'll be light relief. Also will make all the second post of the thread look very odd!

In some scary news before AFCON, the Gambian squad had their flight aborted yesterday due to a depressurisation issue with the plane.

Thankfully the pilot realised things quickly and got them back on the ground safely.
