It's a difficult one for Nuno, 3 games in 6 days and a few knocks ( Jota ) and tiredness kicking in with certain players what does he do ?

Ruddy

Bennett
Danny
Boly

Matt
Neves
Saiss
Jota
Vinagre

Bright
Leo

Really not easy as we now have a proper squad to rotate in most areas , bar CF & RWB.

Need to give Jota some time out. He could barely stand towards the end of last night's game.

It will depend on fatigue.

Even if we line up with eleven changes from last night, it's still a very impressive team capable of beating Fulham at home!

I'd bring Miranda in for Bennett.

Harsh I know, but I think the Fulham attackers are less physical and more agile. Plus, at home we are sure to have more of the ball. I'd then bring Bennett back in at Reading as it's away.

Saiss for N'Diaye. What a shift from the big man but a three day turnaround or a fresh Saiss? Easy decision IMO, even if he did enough to keep a shirt.

Vinagre for Douglas. Just to freshen it up. The wing-back role is key and they need to be at it. Because of tiredness I'd go for Vinagre.

Bright for Cavaleiro. Looked good when he came on, would give him a chance to impress.

I'd replace Douglas with Vinagre and possibly have Jota on the bench if he has a slight knock

It wouldn't surprise me if Boly is left out .I noticed that he had a touch of cramp right at the end on the highlights. He has been out for 2 months with a hamstring strain and the cramp would suggest a tightening of the muscles .He might need easing in a bit,

He made a brilliant clearance which would have stretched them to the limit.

He got straight back up again.

He will play

Vinagre in for Douglas only change.

But don’t care what nuno does. It’ll be the right decision

Same team, we go again. Jota shouldn't be rested unless he is absolutely ****ed and can't walk. We don't play again after this until the 18th do we?

Maybe he will but nothing surprises me with Nuno as he proved with Danny and Miranda last night.

Changes after a defeat should be expected, not be a surprise.

One last push before the international break so unchanged for me.

Miranda ahead of Batth and Hause on the bench as he can naturally play all 3 of the defensive positions. Saiss for Price.

Ruddy
Bennett, Coady, Boly
Doherty, N'Diaye, Neves, Douglas
Cavaleiro, Bonatini, Jota

Norris, Miranda, Vinagre, Saiss, Marshall, Costa, Bright

could you imagine if we took Jota out. The opposition wouldn't know who to kick

Crazy to think Danny, Hause, Pricey, Ronan, not even in the 18

This will be a great game, Fulham like to play and pass it rather than kicking lumps out of the opposition. The return of Kev Mac as well .... Can't wait for Friday night!!! :):)

Agree with that team except that I'd have Vinagre for Douglas.

Will Jota be fit though? If not, front three Bright, Bonatini, Cav

I wouldn't mind seeing Saiss in the Coady role, and keep N'Daiye in. Coady has been excellent but has had a lot of football.

I worry about Docherty and his ability to keep going and Jota may need a rest. At least we have quality options/ cover/ competition in 90% of the positions, for the first time in many, many years!

Same team as vs. Norwich... which is harsh on Batth & Saiss.

If at all fatigued bring in Costa for Cavaliero and Enobakhare for Bonatini... but changes I’d rather not see.

I expect an unchanged one from the other night.

Were we given a reason for the abscence of Batth?

There's a question mark over Boly's fitness so Batth will probably come back in tonight....unless Nuno opts for Hause instead?
