Dont think we need any of the others, Palacios perhaps but wages would be a problem

Not sure if I would want Bullard to be fair! hasnt played at this level in a few years and he will be no where near to te fitness that he was or that is required in the prem!

Well there you go ladies and gents, 3 players in and 18(!) out on either permanent deals or loans.

I won't ask you what you thought of our deals as there's a multitude of other threads of the same theme, suffice to say that I see Roger Johnson has the lead in the who's the shrewdest signing of the summer outside the top 6 poll.

Did the E&S get a scoop this time? I don't know, by my reckoning the Mail beat them to print about Johnson and DeVries. I think the biggest story there is still 'local paper still on quest for relevance in sporting world dominated by social media and football clubs'. We'll have to wait for a busier window to assess if fielden or any of the other Twitter brigade actually have anything insightful to bring or not.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the thread, I've been putting in plenty of air miles so there's no way I could have captured everything without the crowd sourcing.

And again, thanks for the thanks, you guys chirping up and saying you get something out of the thread makes it worthwhile.
