Put up for sale along with Milijas, Hammill, Berra.

What a day, what a revolution!

Got to hand it to Staale, he knows who he likes and who he doesn't. Getting rid of all this dead wood is so refreshing. I didn't really agreed with the sale of Gued, but you can't argue with his policy of lining someone up to come in before the player is sold. Top class management

When he was good he was absolutely fantastic.

When he was bad...jesus, was he bad!

No idea who is going to take him, maybe back to Reading?

I can see us bringing in 4 more new signings at this rate!

Do we have the same rules as the PL, in that players have to be signed before 12pm today in order to play tomorrow?

With Peszko the replacement for Kightly.

Jarvis sold for big money.

Hammill and Hunt on the transfer list.

Hopefully this means that the Bolanos transfer is near completion and that maybe we have another winger lined up too.

I think we could do with another central midfielder given the news about OHara.

There's always the chance that la revolution may not be quite as successful as we'd like...

He must be picking up 20K in wages per week as well, very frustrating.

yeah.... at least £20 - 25K, i reckon - how much longer has he left on his contract, anyone know? is it another 2 years?

I'm gutted if true, Hunt in £40-50k!!!! Even when we thought he was decent he wasn't worth anywhere near that!

Probably was on £40K before relegation so £20K sounds about right. One of McCarthy's worst signings purely based on how many appearances he's made for us.

Hunty's in the final year of his contract, but I'd be amazed if we could actually shift him. I assumed he'd be released at the end of this season.

There's no way in hell we were paying anyone 45-50k! I think RJ was the top earner (probably 35-40) and Doyle got a new contract to have parity.

Hunt was on a fair old whack though, reported to be 30-35k.

Obviously these salaries are all a lot lower in the Championship, but having someone who won't feature on 15-17k p/w is obviously a huge waste, hence his sale.

Whatever Hunt's wages were/are, they pale in comparison to the money he earnt us with that goal against Blackburn which kept us up for another year

Another Championship team may pick him up. He's an ok championship player and could do a job for someone.

Awful player. Good riddance, if someone is actually daft enough to buy him.

Bit harsh on a player that scored a brilliant goal to keep us up and when fully fit put in a few memorable performances including during a great derby victory.

He was injured, slow and we signed him a year too late. But he put in enough effort when availible.

Good luck at you next club Hunt.

SS on Hunt who was ill on Tue: "I had an open discussion with him. He has 10 mnths left and if he stays he can fight for place but if that's acceptable he can go."

SS on JOH: "He'll undergo specialist treatment to see if he needs another op."

His touch and confidence completely deserted him last season, but I don't think we can underestimate just how important he was in keeping us up in 2010/11. Not just the goal on the last day, but that spell when he kept Jarvis out of the team and played well. Not to mention his winning goal against Blues. Never quite the player we hoped he'd be but not as bad as some make out, and he'll leave with some fond memories from me at least.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him back at Hull.
