It’s utterly mind blowing. Having a scrap on ice skates is hella impressive though.
I love how the refs just gently circle them watching, but as soon as someone hits the deck, ‘that’s it break it up, none of that nonsense’.

Love that part of it. Watched a documentary about it on Netflix a couple of years back, seems it's dying out a little these days but teams used to hire players just to be 'enforcers' who would protect their star players, who were naturally targeted with bad challenges, and scrap when needs be. Great stuff.

Just Googled and apparently it was called Ice Guardians. Worth a watch.

Must say that the mods on here do a great job and deserve a bit more respect. Probably best if you don’t like the way the forum is run then leave.

Why? The Mix belongs to us all. It was saved from the embers of the E&S car crash by a few individuals, and I’ll always be incredibly grateful. In reference to your simple advice; There are posters on here like myself, that have been members since the mid to late 90’s, in its various forms, so I’m not then sure, who you think you are or what authority you have to suggest ‘leave’ to anyone.
I don’t think I’ve ever disrespected the Mods. In retrospect, I’m pretty sure I’ve been a bit of a **** over the past 20years and there’s no doubt they’ve given me the hump, but it gets sorted. So, with all due respect and reverence, my suggestion for you, is to take your little piece of advice and…something, something, hole, something, something

Anyway, back to the thread of largely nonsense…
