Just watching NZ v Tonga.Men against boys in the first half.NZ are so explosive as opposed to England's truck and trailer crash ball methods.

TBF to Tonga - the majority of their players play in the lower leagues. It's like Man Utd taking on a mid-table Championship club at Old Trafford.

Tonga did tighten up in the second half which made it a bit more interesting. It's NZ's to lose though.

One of the benefits of being recently unemployed is that I'll be able to watch a few of the games!

Wales should have won, but didn't. They could be up against it now as they have struggled against Samoa before and also have to play Fiji.

England played badly but won - and winning is what the RWC is all about.

Spot on with your last sentence MR. NZ are good at champagne rugby but choke in the big games.

2007 we were written off after getting slaughtered by SA in the group game but ended up in the final.

Come on England!!

I think NZ will do it this time, but one of the great sporting delights over the years has been their successive choking in RWCs. They should stop their silly pre-match antics, keep their tongues in their mouths, and learn to kick Drop Goals!

Lawes banned for 2 matches.

Georgia and Romania. Should be available against the Scots.

Loved RWCL's response over the Wales penalty that wasn't. "We will not comment further on this matter" translates as "We're in the wrong, we look silly and we want to brush it under the carpet!":goodnight:

Great win for Ireland - blows the draw wide open. If England wins the group, it would likely avoid SH teams until the final (assuming NZ wins its group). Also, the Tri Nations teams would be in the same half of the draw.

41-10 v Georgia, however it was not convincing. We need to do better otherwise we won't win the tournament.

England are not going to win the tournament, even if they do step up their game. Terribly boring, predicatable rugby.

This was said in the group games in 2007 and we ended up in the final!! Lets wait till the knockout stages then make a judgement.

It's good to see the weaker nations have closed the gap - not great for the tournament to have the like of Georgia shipping 80 points. Also, the established nations will appreciate tougher group games.

Agreed.

Canada looked a pretty good team too against the French.

It's been an enjoyable world cup so far - and we haven't reached the knockout stages yet.
