We are being linked with him in the Portuguese press. Looking at 10-12 million deal. 19 year old central midfield recently broken into the Sporting 1st team group and Portugal u20 International. He is represented by Mendes.

Can't say I know anything about him but he seems to fit the bill of a young and promising player. A quick youtube of him. A good height, guess 6ft1, looks left-footed. reminds me of Neves and Saiss. Loves a long-range pass

Never averse to signing young players but I would still like to see us sign a couple in the 23-25 range to give us that little bit of experience here and there .Too many of the youngsters we have signed haven’t come through yet

I believe this one more than any other links we've had.

Another Neto style signing, yes please!

Happy to invest in several players around this age and price range

Only takes one to come off to be value for the collective bunch

At some point though we’ve got to buy established players to improve the first eleven.

Talking of young midfielders from Portugal, Pedro Goncalves looking very good again tonight against Porto. Always thought it was strange he was sold last summer.

I'm not particularly disagreeing, but out of interest who out of our current first choice 11/12 players would you say is not good enough for a top six team?

Saiss but I’d defo keep him as a squad player. Possibly Coady.Moutiho will need replacing as he can’t have many seasons left at this level although it’s going to be incredibly hard to bring in someone of his quality.

Apparently no longer training with the team and keeping fit with a personal trainer. According to sports mole. Says move to England is likely.

Not sure how credible this site is bit it suggests that we could get Rodrigo and Palhinha for 25MEuro... Jobs a good un if true...

€25m for both would be sweet. It may be why we’re willing to pay a chunk for a player going out of contract? (Wolves Heathen’s post) Wolves have always behaved themselves in the transfer market and have always been fair to the selling club.
