Last poster aside, did I miss the kool-aid being passed out? Zero chance we finish mid-table and JL knows it. The squad is weaker in depth than last season. The underlying stats and performances post Christmas weren’t great so points per game under JL were always going to regress to mean without squad strengthening imo.

On Sunday, Sporting Index had us hovering a place or two above the relegation zone but betting’s now suspended. If O’Neil comes in, I’d be surprised if we’re not priced in the relegation zone and don’t think that would be mis-priced.

Looks like Lopetegui will join a long list of people Shi has cheesed off through mis-communication and what appears to be poor management (Thelwell, Nuno, Ruddy, Saiss, Moutinho, etc).

This was so tough. There are so many cases of 'Oh wait that's too high for them... Oh hang on, if I drop them down, then that's too high for this other team...'

There's quite a few 'I can't see where the goals are coming from?!' sides as well.

As ever, mid-season manager changes will be crucial: a few stale situations in the lower half with established teams, whereas Bournemouth and Burnley have fresh ideas on the sidelines. And in some examples I think the current coach is the only faith I have in the club (Like Everton with Dyche, and Poch at Chelsea) .
