Phil Shaw and Family????....

Have just started a new job, and after the usual mocking of being a long suffering wolves fan, my new boss said he used to know Phil Shaw and his daughter Diane way back....and hes asked me if they are still alive/around the area??
Anyone have a clue??

Pretty sure he passed away a few years ago.Apologies if I am wrong

I thought he had passed away too...but i wasnt sure...he was club secretary for many years.

Passed away in 1999.

He left the club after the Bhatti takeover in 1982. He was sacked by Dougan along with Jack Taylor(commercial manager) and the then Manager Ian Greaves.

Joined in the early fifties and spent the best part of thirty years at the club. IIRC there was a tribunal about him leaving which he won I believe.

Born in Low Hill by the way.
