Just been watching the footage of the classic FA Cup match against Wednesday in 95. Fantastic night...I was still a ballboy at that stage and was right behind the goal somewhere for the penalties, but can't see myself :-(

Has there ever been a better penalty taken than Pressman's?? Totally outrageous strike. No keeper in the world, past or present would ever have got that. You can see it at 23:33 - right after Dennison's shocker.

De Wolf's wasn't half bad either.

I think wallace is a penalty taker if he is fit

You could see in his body language that he had zero confidence before and on the way up to the penalty, he was never going to score...I wonder what JdW was trying to say to him??

Don't think he's really taken them in his career so far.

It's what made his 32 goals last season even more impressive, everyone else who managed to get around that had a decent number of penalties boosting them.

True but they don't always make the best penalty takers.

Wallace took them at Pompey I believe but apart from that I'm not sure any of our players have been regular penalty takers in their career.

Probably be Dicko as he's taken a couple for us IIRC although I think he missed.

He is only young . Best finisher . Makes sense to use afobe .

Afobe took, and scored, plenty for MK Dons. I'm sure he'll be on them for us.

What a team we had back in '95. Without the incredible, unjust and immoral exit in the play-off semi v Notlob, we would have established ourselves in the Prem, then only 2-3 years old, and maybe even gone on to higher thngs.

I was 14 at the time, STH in the southbank behind the goal. We were down and out and somehow turned it round. Pressman's penalty was the best I've ever seen, unbelievable power.

I almost **** myself when we snatched it though!
