Christ that second half was difficult to watch, but our defence was solid, backed up with two great saves from Sa.

NEARLY safe and that’s really all that matters

Okay, actual verdict. Very fortunate to win that. Olise and Eze are a different level.

Not a bad side, Palace.

We were the better side first half, but didn’t create an awful lot (again!). Love Diego and his effort, but we need another in the summer.

Hard for the subs to come into that kind of game and make an impact. Backs to the wall.

Thought Hwang was very fortunate not to give a penalty away too. Perhaps tonight was the night where we got our big decision.

They were better in possession but don't remember them creating a clear cut chance second half, Eze great effort from outside of the box only effort of note. Well defended and take the three points. Big summer now for Julen

We lacked quality today but we had fight and bottle in abundance, things we’ve been accused of lacking in the past. Gotta take the positive aspects from what was, let’s be honest, a very difficult watch!

Delighted with the result. But that second half performance is the same pattern we've established for weeks now. We look like a footballing team with grit in the middle for 30 mins and then resort to jittery hoof ball for the rest of the game.

Three points is what we needed and that is what we got. Ugly watch in the second half, but we dug in really well and apart from the shot from Eze that Sa tipped over they didn't create any clear cut chances. Gutsy performances all over the pitch with Dawson, Diego and above all Ruben the stand outs. Neves was fantastic!
As a spectacle it was a hard watch with far too many stoppages, but I guess that ended up playing into our hands. At least the ref got one thing right with the penalty - which meant for a more relaxed last 2 minutes after a nail biting previous 45!

That'll do nicely, a draw or two and we're safe. In all probability we already are

That was a very tough watch, Palace we’re the better side especially in the second half.

It goes to show how far we’ve come that we can win games like that. in Dawson, Neves, Costa, Lemina and Gomez we have players who simply refuse to loose games.

Massive win, that one might just see us over the line.

One of the worst games I’ve ever watched but who gives a ****. 3 points and should be safe now.

Can someone confirm that Toti and Gomes are actually banned? I thought the 5 yellow rule became 10 yellows at a certain point in the season?
Toti and Gomes is the same guy. You know that right?

Yes I am joking.

Its the moment we take off a striker and bring on a midfielder. Can't do anything but smack it in the air if there us noone to move it forward to.

Get the **** in! Backs to the wall, dirty, victory but who gives a ****! After what happened on Saturday, got to say Sa deserves a lot of credit today for at least two fantastic saves in either half. Match winning performance in goal! Also, another player who's come in for unfair criticism recently, our very own wonderkid from Porto, was immense, especially second half when he was absolutely everywhere. Put even the other wonderkid from Brazil to shame! Topped with a well taken penalty at the end and fully deserving of the appreciation showed to him by the Molineux faithful who, on TV anyway, appeared to be in fine fettle tonight. Other special mentions to Dawson and Costa. That was a tough game cos Palace are a good team. Dare I say it, we're safe. UTW!

Really poor performance but fantastic result. Puzzled by JL's tactics but three points is three points.

Sa, Dawson, Bueno, Kilman and Costa all good.

Hwang and Semedo really bad and both need replacing.

Toti's cameo was a shocker.

Horrible game to watch, but who cares knowing the result.

Absolutely mega win and 3 clean sheet wins at Molineux on the bounce, with that a 7th since he came in.

WE ARE STAYING UP!

Thank Zog for that !!!!

Very poor performance, we’re not very good. Unless things improve drastically in the summer, we’ll be back here again next season
The points since Julen came in don’t tend to point that way. Think in fairness our judgment is clouded because of the horrendous league position we have found ourselves in.

A Julen Lopetegui Wolves side won’t be anywhere near a relegation battle ever again.

MOM goes to Sa for me for the two critical / quality moments of the game.
A desperate watch and never looked like scoring without opposition help.
I heard JL was a tactical genius but yet to see any evidence of that, still hoping though. Did I really see Gomes playing upfront at one point?
Odd also that Costa had a decent game without ever looking like scoring or assisting. Not sure what we expect from a striker anymore
Anyway, onwards to next season where we will find out the truth about JLs genius.

Thank the Lord for Sa on a rare good night.
Overall performance was once again hoping for the opposition to **** up.
Just trying to remember a shot on goal from anyone in a gold shirt.
Costas worth his money for his presence on the field. Neves always there the rest Championship performance.
Most likely to stop up now but by heck do we need a sort out before next season.

Just a small word about our beloved VAR. How the fudging hell wasn't that a red for the Palace goalkeeper? It was a stonewall red. Didn't matter in the end, but Jesus, VAR has completely screwed us this season.
Surely they could have given a pen for Hwang’s challenge though…so I’ll take the lack of intervention

Lots of cracks wallpapered over tonight. We soooooo badly need to sign quality in the summer. Mainly up top , desperately need a top class striker
Absolutely. Hopefully Silva kicks on. I don't think Sasa will spend a lot of time fit, so imo we need to by one striker of known quality.

Said before the game that the result is all that matters at this stage of the season and that is a massive 3 points.
It was a really bad watch second half though. We seemed to lose our shape completely and any ability to keep the ball.
Costa was very good first half, Sa had a very good game and Neves excellent defensively and totally committed.

Horrible watch second half but fully understandable given what was at stake.

Didn’t keep the ball well enough which invited pressure back onto us but defended bravely and when called upon, Sa was excellent.

Thought Semedo, Dawson and Neves were the pick of the outfield players. Costa excellent first half but had no service at all in the second.

Toti had a bit of a horror show when he came on but Olise and Eze are both excellent players.

Sa 8
Semedo 8
Dawson 8
Kilman 7
Bueno 6
Nunes 6
Lemina 7
Neves 8
Hwang 6
Cunha 6
Costa 7

Not pretty but showed plenty of bottle. Well done everyone.

And breathe…
Not sure Semedo gets the same score as Neves and Dawson, but it was a battling performance from all.
