So far we've had full international call-ups for the following players:

Conor Coady
Rui Patricio
Nelson Semedo
Joao Mountinho
Ruben Neves
Pedro Neto
Owen Otasowie
Willy Boly
Adam’s Traore
Leander Dendoncker
Romain Saiss
Raul Jimenez

Plus Vitinha and Ait-Nouri in the U21's

Have a feeling this will be our biggest International call-up list ever

Edit: have added Otasowie to the original list and will add others as they are announced.

Beats the days of Welsh, ROI and Scottish internationals!
I used to love our Irish contingent of Doyle, Hunt, Foley etc being called up. Would always watch Ireland play due to this.

I also loved us signing 'international' players and then realising they had 2 caps which were given around 4 years before we signed them. How times have changed!

Shame Podence didn't get a call up, but at least he'll have some well earned rest!

Title should be changed to November Internationals - SHOULD BE SCRAPPED. One day soon as a domestic league will be decimated due to these barmy breaks for no reason and a virus outbreak in an Int squad.

Could be worse actually. I am one of (probably!) the many on here who remembers when internationals were played on a Saturday and teams like us just had to play with reserves to replace those playing for their national teams. No postponements were even contemplated.
Although I wasn't at the WBA vs Wolves game in 1954 that we won 1-0 - one of the two wins against them that gave us our first ever title of League Champions with them second - I do know that both clubs played without two regular first team players because the four of them were playing for England in Scotland that Saturday afternoon. I occasionally wonder whether they talked about what was going on back in the Black Country, either during the journey there or back. No internet or even TV coverage in those days of course, and I'm sure they wouldn't have been given any updates even at half time.
At least we didn't have players flying off to play for Portugal in those days. :)

Is Mexico no playing? Either way, if they don't call up our Jimi, that's great. flying across the pond sucks.

Being totally selfish I have always have been a Wolves before country fan, all I give a stuff about in the next few 2 weeks is all our players being Covid free and available for selection for the Southampton match.
Totally agree. And apart from Covid, why risk injury?
I‘m being selfish......I’m sure the lads are proud and delighted to wear their country’s shirt.

Can’t see the Spain squad and if Traore is in it? Has anyone got a link to it or know when it is announced?

Added the latest confirmations, 12 players in full international squads, both proud and a little scared now but in my lifetime I've never experienced the like. And with all due respect these countries include England, Portugal, Belgium, Mexico and Spain not your Wales, Ireland, Scotland and Iceland that we'd been used to.

Just look at the quality we have now.

Not Wolves related but I would think Klopp will be fuming that he has got this in an England training session. Another defender down for them.

I'm guessing Neto has a good chance of his first cap tonight given its a friendly. Maybe Ruben too.

Yes I'll be keeping an eye on the Portugal game..
The Spain game maybe more tho to see if Adama starts & looks a bit rusty or oiled & sharp as ever?
