To counter that other stupid best 6 Traore thread.. as @SingYourHeartsOut said about it.. " Are Wolves entering a 6 aside tournament " lol

This is a more appropriate question concerning Adama starting a game it seems or being on the bench past few games as an essential quality squad player.
If you think he is still an important squad player. Why should Wolves / Jeff be even considering selling him?

Yes he is currently an important squad player but We are well stocked in attacking players:
Jimenez
Hwang
Silva
Podence
Trincao
Neto

For me the likes of Neto, podence and trincao suit the way lage wants to play better than Traore so traore would increasingly be used as an impact player off the bench.

Selling him for whatever it is 20/25 mil and then using that to strengthen somewhere else in the team just makes sense. If we sell traore and sign a cm who brings something different to our midfield then i for one would be happy. However selling him and not signing anyone wouldn't make any sense at all.

Do we really need another Traore thread have enough on the go now surely?!

Will be a shame if he goes because he is such an exciting player to watch but with the contract situation and him not re signing a new one means its now or never as his value will decrease massively in the summer...

The important thing is them reinvesting the money back into the squad in a position we need...

The important thing now is Adama is hitting the back of the net and coming into goal scoring form.
This could be the make or break or difference of us getting into Europe or not? Loads of time 18 months left on his contract no problem there..
If Adama adds another 5 or 6 goals with assists before end of season now. They will be a queue of clubs wanting to buy him for £30 to 40m in the summer

He can’t earn the money as a wolves squad player than he can at a big six club and there in lies the problem , I’m sure the contract offer was more money and comparitive to other players but not the top end of the scale , other players have signed contract extensions so don’t see how they would have treated Adama differently …

His best ever season he only scored 5 in the league and that was Boro in the Championship
He has only scored 3 in last 2 seasons,but suddenly he is going to score 5/6 in less than half a season?
I agree if he could turn into a goal machine there would be a queue to buy him,but the reality is, even if we dont sell him now,he will go back to how he was just as soon as the window closes,in fact theres really nothing changed except he scored one goal,even that plank we had on loan last season scored more lol
