The Sako scores are in

Patricio - 6 - Didn’t really do a lot did he

Doherty - 8 - Quite like the experiment with him in the back 3, would’ve been an 9 if he’d scored that chance at the end

Coady - 6 - Standard Coady performance, probably as guilty as Saiss for their goal

Saiss - 6 - Looked ok to be fair but got caught under one and it cost us

Jonny - 7 - Might be the furthest forward he’s been since his last goal, more of that please

Traore - 8 - Nuno please stop playing him at wing back and let him go further forward he’s our biggest threat had Willems for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Dendoncker - 6 - Usual run around performance

Neves - 5 - Don’t remember him doing much at all, getting slightly worried now his drop in form is going on an awful long time

Moutinho - 7 - As always our best midfielder but do wish he’d pass it forwards a bit more rather than sideways.

Jota - 6 - Wasteful with a couple of really good chances, in fairness one he made himself, and kept giving away stupid fouls needs to sort his attitude out

Jimenez - 8 - God save us if he gets injured

Subs

Vinagre - 5 - Brought on to stretch the 10 men and just ran inside and passed it mostly

Neto - 5 - Nice to see him back but someone please tell him he needs to make his mind up quicker.

Overall we were pretty decent second half against a shocking Newcastle team and bit for some wasteful stuff towards the end would’ve won it. Take note Nuno stop being stubborn and insisting we play 3-5-2 when quite clearly we are better at 3-4-3. Soaking up pressure and playing counter attack stuff against Man City is fine but trying to do it against a nervous and cautious Newcastle just gave them encouragement when we could’ve played them off the park for the full 90 and won comfortably
