SSN just announced he’s left Boro by mutual consent. My wife jumped for joy! Will need to ask my daughter what the vibe is next week at Rockliffe.

Predictable after that result.

Warnock has always been able to pride himself on being the 2nd division's best longball hoofball merchant, but today saw him coming up against the new kid on the block in Valerie Ismail with his own brand of longball hoofball that has been impressing the masses at the Poorthorns, who have been hailing Ismail as the second coming of their messiah Megson.

Warnock's failure to prove himself the 2nd division's best longball hoofball specialist was always going to cost him his job. Still, it was a fascinating spectacle for football purists around the world.

Those were the good old days when we were beating teams like Everton 2-1 at home under the Molineux lights. I miss those days. People had more respect then.
That’s so long ago I’m not surprised people have forgotten

I know. Raul and Hwang up front, that young Portuguese wonderkid on the bench (Silva was it?) and the goofy ex Benfica manager who looked a bit like Dean Saunders. Time just flies.

Hopefully he gets the villa job when Smith gets sacked.
Well, he will be in a very long queue behind Guardiola, Klopp, Conte, Tuchel, Gatusso, Fonseca and Pochettino who are already updating their CVs in preparation right now. According to VillaTalk.

Just interviewed on SSN. Said he was told a few weeks back at Brighton a new man was coming in, and he knows who it is. Not a great surprise, but not very complimentary about the support he got from Boro mgt. Well, I think he should be pleased they let him stay to break the record this week. Can’t see him back in work now.

Probably finished in the top two divisions, but if he is up for it, I'm sure he'd get some offers from League 1 and 2 teams. He might want to leave it all behind now though.

**** me, he must be about 85 now? Why doesn't he just take another cheque and drift off with MM, Pulis and the others to the retired managers old peoples home in Blackpool!

Radio 5 said after the game it's Wilder. Hope he does well there, felt he got poorly treated by Sheff U.
