Just knock down the whole stadium and play on ASDA car park with jumpers for goal posts
Yes, 24k. 24,321, just checked Pagey.
As I remember it. 9,300 Wolves fans in the John Ireland, 11,000 Wolves in the South Bank, and 4,000 Sheff United other side the fence tallies.
Great to watch the YouTube clip again, great goals, celebrations and crowd scenes in the old two sided 1989 Molineux.
I thought the same as you reans.I reckon there was more than 24000 there - 9300 in the sold out Steve Bull, 4000-5000 away fans, only 11000 Wolves in their half of the South Bank? Surely a few more in there?
The sign of old age as we remember the old south bank. Great memories in there except for standing in front of the barsGreat video. Rumour has it that the North Bank still generated more atmosphere that day than it does now
If my memory serve right, was that the 1st home game for years that was all ticket?I reckon there was more than 24000 there - 9300 in the sold out Steve Bull, 4000-5000 away fans, only 11000 Wolves in their half of the South Bank? Surely a few more in there?

The first after Hillsborough was the Sherpa Van defeat v Torquay. And one of the first game after hillsborough?
A friend of mines father was part of the formation of the Wolves Lottery, and yes they helped the club in so many ways, @Berlin Wolf you may know the guy from worldwide wolves, he co runs Raised by WolvesBeen looking through some old programmes from the 70's & it looks like the fans helped fund the Steve Bull Stand (John Ireland Stand, the New Stand, Molineux Street Stand, etc) - so do we get our money back when they pull it down ??? A lot of games make it down to 130 points.Wish the expansion would hurry up.
Only been able to get to 3 games this season.
Seems I won't have enough loyalty points to be able to get to any more.
My fault for living in the south-east and having children.
Am I like one of those plastic Mancs / Scousers that live all around me?
A glory hunter?
Thank goodness for internet streams
Exactly. Problems with the Council. University rules the area.I have my doubts about the stadium expansion. I think it might have cooled
I also wonder a tiny bit about fosun. I hope nuno is right when he says defo new signings in january. Part of me worries its said to put pressure on fosun. Hope ism just seeing shadowsExactly. Problems with the Council. University rules the area.
If they want to rebuild Molineux from scratch why don't we play at villa Park for one season?
Just a thought.
I think it would take 2 seasons to do a complete rebuild. But not against the idea. I think they will go 1 stand at a time though. Just bloody do it already!
No thanks. That's a pie in the sky idea.A retractable roof?
Would love a tower like that!
When the roof retracts it gets pulled up the cables attached to the top of the tower and looks like a furled umbrella.Would love a tower like that!
LovelyHere's a pie on the ground
