I try to not overeact, but if this is true, rather than just helping him keep fit, that means we are genuinely considering signing him. If we can find a place for him in our 25 (when we already have 26) then it is a terrible indictment of our ambition

It isn't a particularly long list but most clubs take players on trial and most of the time the trial doesn't lead to anything.

Wolves take a player on trial and it is dressed up as a statement of our intent and ambition.

We are probably looking to sign him until the end of Jan for the Liverpool game. We can use as many players until then as squad of 25 does not count until the 1st Feb. Mick probably is looking at having a midfielder on the bench for that match seeing as O'Hara is ruled out and if anything happens to the rest (sold/injurys).
He wont be a long term deal maybe just for a match. That's if he even signs at all.
