Sheffield United women's player Maddy Cusack has died at the age of just 27. Maddy played over 100 games for the Blades ladies team, and was also a marketing executive for Sheffield United Football Club. It is so terribly sad to hear of a young lady passing away so young, with her life in front of her. It certainly puts a game of football into perspective.

27 is no age. Utterly heartbreaking to hear and knowing she was contributing off the pitch as a Blades Marketing Executive, shows how much of a loss Maddy is.

Love and sympathy to her family, teammates and all at such a wonderful club.
