Can't believe anyone here doesn't see that was a red. He stuck his foot pretty hard studs first into the player's thigh. Yes he'd been fouled and made a meal of it but that's a red card and definitely not a clear error from VAR. Had that been the other way we'd want him sent off. We'll see worse but no blame on the ref here.

He was trying to free his legs. It’s a natural reaction, he just didn’t think. Stitched up by the Luton player completely.

Absolutely awful half. The red card just adds a little extra excrement to what we just saw. Set us out wrong, changed it halfway but still second best, lost a player, multiple players losing heads, no idea what on earth we're trying to do on the pitch, no striker again...

The plus side is we haven't conceded and Neto's trying to be a one man attack for us. Second half cannot possibly be worse.

Which is fine. It's a red by today's standards.

But the fact of the matter is, the game blantantly allowed a player to cheat and by cheating cause another player to take a red card without punishment.

How can that be fine? How do we let players blantantly cheat with zero consequence.

This isn't a desperation shirt grab. This wasn't a slightly late tackle. He literally wraps up Bellegarde's legs for 5+ seconds. It's insane that is deemed okay.

As it stands our only points are against Everton, who if they had any idea what the goal looked like would have won 5-1.
