Chiquinho and Ki Jana Hoever both started for Stoke as they beat Burton 1-0. Stoke fans very impressed in his 45 mins as already highlighted. Hoever got 64 mins in the tank

Chem definitely, had interest from SPL, Championship and League 1. Luke not sure yet, Swansea were interested but they’ve since changed manager.

There’s some interest in Bolla from clubs in Europe but nothing definite. Wolves want £2m-£3m.

Not heard anything on Jordao. Last I heard he was looking forward to coming back and challenging for a first team place. Not been seen since!

Oliver Tipton has completed his first move away from Compton Park, joining League Two newcomers Notts County on a season-long loan.

Yerson Mosquera was an unused substitute (rested) for Cincinnati’s League Cup game against Chivas. The game finished 18 hours after it started after last nights original fixture was stopped just after half time due to severe electrical storms.

Friendlies

Tyler Roberts started and played 68 mins as Doncaster finished their pre season with a 1-0 win over Port Vale

Dexter Lembikisa came off the bench to play the final 29 mins as Rotherham beat Lincoln 3-0 away

Louie Moulden played 81 mins as Rochdale completed their pre season with a 1-0 win over Bradford City

Ollie Tipton wasn’t in the Nots County squad as they drew 1-1 away at Shrewsbury. Ollie will have another week to settle in

Chiquinho stepped up his minutes playing 60 this time as Stoke lost 1-0 at home to Everton with a goal in the 6th minute of injury time. Ki Jana Hoever played the full 90

Theo Corbeanu played 85 mins and provided an assist as Grasshoppers got points on the board in their second game, drawing 1-1 away at Lausanne. Nigel Lonwijk wasn’t in the squad as he continues to recover from a small injury

Saturday 5th August

Yerson Mosquera played 90 mins as Cincinnati exited the US League Cup losing on penalties to Nashville SC after a 1-1 draw in normal time

Ki Jana Hoever played 90 mins and scored the opening goal (see above post by @Rabid Wolf) as Stoke beat Rotherham 4-1 at home. Chiquinho played the final 15 mins. Dexter Lembikisa came on after 58 mins for Rotherham

Tyler Roberts came on after 68mins as Doncaster lost 1-0 at home to Harrogate

No Ollie Tipton in the Notts C as they were humbled 5-1 away at Sutton on their introduction back into league football

Louie Moulden played 90 mins as Rochdale lost 1-0 at home to Louie’s old loan side Ebbsfleet

Stan Amos made his debut i for Wolves casuals as they lost 3-1 away at Sutton Coldfield town in the FA Cup extra preliminary round

First thing to say is that both names caused the Radio Stoke commentator a LOT of problems. That said, here's the scouting report.

Hoever - you've seen the first goal. He could easily have had a second and should have had an assist with a great cross. Slightly languid style of play but clearly going to be a big success for the Potters

Lenny Biska - looked very much at home in the Champo. Rotherham are clearly going to be down the wrong of the table, but in the time he was on Lenny was one of their better players

Chick Keano - given the rave reviews he'd had in pre-season, looked slightly short of match fitness to me. One electric burst of pace but the least impressive of our three yesterday
