One of our rare 6.25am flight occasions so far this season. Was saying to lads after the game on Wednesday that I need to find something to do with my Saturdays now that we don't have any home games on that day.

Think the Western opens at 10. The supporters lounge looks like the best bet for us.

8:10 train from west Herts getting me in at 10:15. Straight into the Great Western for a couple of Golden Glows and take it from there.

Train home is at 4:00 so time for a few beers after the game and home in time for an evening out locally

I´ve missed this place all together when in Wolvo.Will check it out next time.Predrinks is usually Great Western,Combermere,Lych gate..old Wheatshef when it was runned down,and Moon if losing weight walletwise.

We quite like it in there , a little bit edgy but great old pub with decent atmosphere.

I think we are landing in Wolverhampton about 10:30 God willing.

Nah your right his son has run/had things to do with pubs around town for sometime. Ran the Old Still not too long back.

I have a crazy notion that Phil Parkes son had some involvement with the Coach and Horses in Stafford recently, albeit briefly, so I reckon your memory could be sound.
