Ok, I’ll start the ball rolling for a Christmas quiz.

Who was our last player to score 2 goals (or more) in a League match?

I can’t remember by the way and I ain’t looking on the internet!

Any more last player questions, anyone?.

I honestly can't remember if that's the case (and I was probably there).
They used to be two a penny in Bully's days. Since then, they've almost become collectors items.
Back to back hattricks in Europe......Espanyol was the last one......Jota hattrick and Neves chest and volley wonder goal

Name our 3 half backs (as they were called, back in the day) who played together in a match for England?

Name the international team they played against.

On the theme of hatricks, who was the Wolves player who bagged three (in one half?) at St Andrews in the early 90's ?

John Richards was one of our greatest ever strikers and he won one England cap.

Who was it against?

Great question, but i don't know the answer.
Have i dreamt this, or did the game take place at somewhere like Goodison Park, and wasn't he played out on the left rather than his natural position?

It was against Northern Ireland in 1973 at Goodison Park.

Sir Alf played him on the right wing and he was never in the game.

England had Kevin Keegan, Martin Chivers and Allan Clarke to choose from at the time and ‘King John’ was a one-cap wonder.

A travesty of justice. For me John Richards should have had many more caps. He is a true Wolves ledgend.

Is it Steve Bloomer..?
28 goals in 23 games!!! Wow!
Dixie Dean was very impressive too, with 18 goals in 16 games, though World War II likely hindered him somewhat!
