Sat next to him??? I was, like, from the accents, half of Wolvo, in the Shed that day lol.
Me and me mate had tickets in the shed that day.....went down there , by chance managed to get two in tickets in the away end outside the ground, by sheer luck ....

So went in the away end, top tier in the corner ...my seat was next to Kevin bizarrely....

(Tried to sell the shed tickets but got told to do one by a few touts, so did)....

I think he lived in Cadman Crescent, Old Fallings as a kid … just round the corner from where we lived.

Saw Dexy’s at The Civic very recently … great gig. They’ve got a new album that they played in the first half (“The Feminine Divine”). It’s quite different to their early stuff and takes a bit of getting in to … but I love it.

Saw him at Wolves matches back in the day. A fairly well known Wolves fan.

Local still important lads?
The brand is global....nowadays.
Wasntt there a fuss about stealing the song "Come On Eileen"...?
Tuning in Shalamar... , night to rembember on Swedens Musichal yearly kinda band aid.
BBC should do the same ..an all out shramble yeach year for something worthwhile purpose.
Band Aid was 1985.
It is about time the UK did the same..you´ll so much bigger than ours.
Give a tenner..how hard is it really?
I´ll play David Joseph..You Cant Hide your love..at least..for it.
No one do that nowadays,,we all struggle to kill famine.
Just be gone..acchiable too...let´s just kill it Wolverhampton!

Did you like the new stuff? I couldn’t get into that at all.

Saw Dexys recently for the first time. They were brilliant. Well the old stuff was.

Was pleased when they played Geno before kick off last weekend.

Back in August 1982 with my first ever wage packet from working I bought Too-Ray-Ay. Brilliant timeless album and it was a special moment buying an album with money I had earned !!!

The excellent channel Sky Arts recently had Kevin and Dexy's play the whole album and I was singing along to it !!!!

Saw him at Fulham away at a night game, still the old terracing, think it was when Emblen scored in a 1-0 win.
Didn’t realise it was Kevin Rowland at the time as he had been out of the limelight for a while, but then saw his photo in a newspaper a few weeks later. Did think he looked familiar at the time :D.

Saw him at Watford a very long time ago, a dismal 3-1 defeat in winter....it was pre all seater stadiums so on the old shallow terrace.
He was wearing a long skirt, and I remember thinking he must have been bloody freezing.

I remember going to the Spurs cup game at WHL in the 90’s ,the one when Dean Richards crashed his car driving home afterwards. As I got off the coach with my wife ,there he was being handed a ticket by someone and he was sat in front of us that day.

Remember seeing him outside White City tube station after QPR away. He was looking proper dapper in a full white suit, spats and a flat cap.

Searching for the young sould rebels is an iconic album in my opinion.
I can remember waking up most Sunday mornings, still drunk from the night before, last night's cold Kebab still next to my bed and Dexy's vinyl album playing over again. How time flies.

Was at a QPR away night game ended 0-0 I think many years ago and he was a few rows behind me wearing a dress ahead of his time I suppose.
