Some of you may have seen this story on some of the Wolves FB pages. Absolutely heartbreaking.

A young boy, Jordan Banks, was having a one-to-one coaching session in Blackpool when he was struck by lightning last night. He passed away.

He was 9 years old.

It would be great for the Wolves family to show their support.

Tributes have been paid to the "inspiring" kid who was fundraising for counselling services in honour of his uncle before he died.

In about the last 15 months I have read and seen on TV far too much sadness. Yet this is possibly the most heartbreaking thing I have come across. All the kid wanted was to play football and in a sport where some parts of the media are far too quick to use words like " tragic " and " devastating " to describe losing a football game or making an error, what happened to this young chap and to his family is a justified yet totally unwanted use of those words, tragic and devastating.
