STRIKER Jake Cassidy has signed for York City on a free transfer from League Two side Stevenage.

I once ran rings round my team mates like that (mind you the ball was attached by string to my ankle!) I had about as much skill as roger johnson

Well remembered Pessimistic.
Kenny Jackett certainly persevered with Cassidy, played him 20 times.
But by hook or by crook, he couldn't get that first goal to get his Wolves career underway.

He scored a bucketload of goals for Tranmere in the same league the season before. It technically wasn’t a step up- just couldn’t do it for us. Must have been a psychological thing in front of big crowds. Wish him well.
