Good luck Glen hope you pull through. Jeff Stalling just announced it on Soccor Saturday. Doesn't sound great.

I was watching him on Robbie Savage's breakfast programme on BT this morning. It's his 61st birthday today so they brought a cake for out for him, seemed in good spirits.
Apparently BT have cancelled their final score programme this afternoon, so sounds like it could be pretty serious.

I’m sure it was his birthday today or yesterday too. 61?

All the best Glenn

Never understood the negativity towards Glenn, one of England's best midfielders, did really well at Chelsea, modernized how they played, did really really well for England and, quite honestly, if he were German the Germans would have treated him a footballing hero. Wishing Glenn a speedy recovery

And genuine best wishes to Glenn from me.
I sat next to his Mum in the DB at one match and she was so proud of 'her boys'. She's already lost one of them.
Glenn's wife Vanessa was also very good to me as a result of meeting her that day.

Not my favourite ever Wolves manager (though l do wonder how he might have done with Fosun-type players) but l wish him well.. .

I see JasonWWFC had similar thoughts

One of the best players ever to pull on an England shirt. A real pleasure to watch. I never had the negativity towards him that some others did at Wolves. I sincerely hope he pulls through and is OK.

One of my earliest memories of watching football was Glenn Hoddle playing for Spurs on the telly. A fabulous footballer.

Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Only watched a clip of his 8 England goals this morning and 6 of them were Neves-esque stunners. A Rolls Royce of a footballer. If it weren’t for penalties against Argentina and his comments to the press he could have been England manager for a long time. I don’t have happy memories of his time at Wolves but I wish him all the best and a full and speedy recovery.

All the best Glenn.

Awful day for football. Puts losing a game in perspective.
