Sorry, lets all sing we are the rainbow LBG people of the Greater Birmingham area ! pah ! Oh and it was always BOYS !What do others sing when we're rolling out "Fight, fight wherever you may be, we are the xxxx of the Black Country".
Think once upon a time it was "lads", then possibly "boys". Is it now Wolves ??
Just interested to know as our support is more diverse these days and not male dominated as it used to be.
Heard this mentioned a few times but never heard it sang.

Ask "Itsmee " ,he wrote the corner shop sung, that's all I'm going to say on the matter !Boys from the Black Country?
I remember doing endless rounds of the corner shop song before and after the SVT final, that was a day. The costs seemed to vary though and sometimes the lyrics. I reckon we could have a whole thread trying to nail down the exact lyrics (assuming it didn't get closed down for references to the ethnicity of the Bhattis).
When we were nearly making the play-offs under Jackett "it's magic" was pretty awesome.
That's ok GA, remind what the T stands for ?Just asking DW coz I didn't know what folk sing these days that's all. "Boys" still works for me funnily enough, and has done for donkey's.
Not wishing to be pedantic, but its LGBT if we want to be PC

Others you never hear any more :
We're just too good for you)
Can anyone remember that chant to the goalkeeper with the ginger hair??
‘If your a ginger you shouldn’t wear pink’.
Classic chant! Think it was Reading but I can’t be sure which team had that monstrous goalkeepers shirt!
OR,Haven't heard "Call out the riot squad, Wolves are ere, Wolves are ere" for a while now. Probably a good thing.
Considering it is to the tune of Little Donkey, my lad sung it at the school carol service last year.Haven't heard "Call out the riot squad, Wolves are ere, Wolves are ere" for a while now. Probably a good thing.
Red flag we heard that 1980 song at Charlton away. Stayed in my head since!
We were singing the corner shop song at the back of the reading end.
A favourite of mine which was sung when we played Albion away...........Oh I do like to be beside the seaside,oh I do like to be beside the sea,oh I do like to walk along the prom prom prom where the brass band plays .......off West Brom.
Urgh, it hurts my soul hearing that dirge being repeated by the same crowd over and over and over.... Give it up boys, there's a reason no-one joins in and that's because the song is tuneless and pointless. The WV1 lads should be commended on the contribution they've made to the South Bank atmosphere but this ****e almost undoes all that good work.I like that 'singing songs on our own, we'll never be alone' one.
Said nobody, ever.
