Think once upon a time it was "lads", then possibly "boys". Is it now Wolves ??
Just interested to know as our support is more diverse these days and not male dominated as it used to be.

I remember doing endless rounds of the corner shop song before and after the SVT final, that was a day. The costs seemed to vary though and sometimes the lyrics. I reckon we could have a whole thread trying to nail down the exact lyrics (assuming it didn't get closed down for references to the ethnicity of the Bhattis).

When we were nearly making the play-offs under Jackett "it's magic" was pretty awesome.

My dad always used to sing to me when I was younger the 1980 Legue Cup song and it’s strange that the season he died it had a reprise especially at away games.

My first away game after he died Everton away, I lost my voice singing along with tears streaming down my face! Had some very funny looks but it was a very small tribute from myself, and I convince myself, the Wolves family to one of their own!

He is chanting away wherever he my be with his Banks’s Mild and Chicken Curry!

Urgh, it hurts my soul hearing that dirge being repeated by the same crowd over and over and over.... Give it up boys, there's a reason no-one joins in and that's because the song is tuneless and pointless. The WV1 lads should be commended on the contribution they've made to the South Bank atmosphere but this ****e almost undoes all that good work.

For my sins though, I quite like Wonderful Wolves. Granted, it's also a bad song but it's got an naive charm to it and we can sing it without irony at the mo.
