Sometimes in my darkest of times when I feel the lowest and wanting space, someone has asked me "you ok" and I've opened up and openly told them exactly how I'm feeling at that time and can then go days feeling "better" but I've had times when I felt like I wanted to talk but when asked you simply can't say a word.
Also personally I find that the closer the person is to me like family the harder it is to talk to about any of it because it increases their pain from losing a sister and a daughter because that how they saw my wife.
