Don’t be so ridiculous. At the end of the day Cunha shouldn’t be swinging a fist. The idiot was lucky to not be sent off. Appreciate that those inside the stadium probably didn’t see it or know what it was for but it really was stupid from Cunha. Even the most biased of commentators in the international comms were critical of Cunha for it (Dave Edwards and our queen of Codsall).

Did you see the tackle from an Arsenal player in the build up to one of Havertzs goals last night almost assault.

Disagree. Didn't even make contact really--brushes barely the top of his head. Doesn't impact the goal whatsoever. Not sure why the Premier League is so desperate to chalk off goals in a game that naturally has so few scores.

But that’s not the point, is it? It’s no longer about whether VAR is right or wrong. It’s about the damage it’s done to the game.

I’m as aggrieved as any wolves fan and I agree it didn’t impede the play. But see it objectively and without bias. It was an off the ball foul so it’s nothing to do with impeding play. He swung a fist; being minor contact or not, he is a lucky boy to not have been sent off once VAR get involved in it.

I defer back to GON’s comments earlier in the season about “minor headbutts” when an opposition player escaped a red. A headbutt or fist swing is a headbutt or fist swing. No if’s not buts.

Agree. For those inside the stadium in particular, it’s horrendous.

Direct action is probably the only thing that will work. We could all take tennis balls to the match and lob them onto the pitch whenever there’s a VAR check. A simple and harmless action that’s also highly visible. Get other team’s fans on board so all games over a weekend have a protest.

VAR got the big decisions right. Sometimes us fans just look for excuses as to why we lost
Says someone who must have watched it on the sofa.

I dont care if it is right or wrong, thats not the point, I dont care if its in our favour or against us, its just **** and kills the match going experience.

VAR is a problem bigger than Wolves though, and all football fans need to be united against it
Unfortunately the PL aren't bothered about the fans who go in, they are more interested in United from Asia than any one who spends good money Week in Week out to watch the games.

The ref and his assistant saw it in real time and clearly and did nothing. The game is being re-refereed but only when a goal is scored.
All the petty fouls and dives from Bournemouth unpunished.
And yes we were ****.

Didn’t swing a fist, arm yes, not sure there was any real contact, but gave VAR something to look at and couldn’t really see why he needed to have his arm out at all,
Extremely harsh decision is it clear and obvious mistake ? Or even a foul, but swinging are gave VAR an excuse to look at it

Funnily enough I was listening to BBC Solent commentary whilst at work. They are the epitome of "the most biased of commentators" - the pair of them were gobsmacked (no pun intended) when the goal was disallowed.
