Most of the players in the attached photo will be obvious to many (certainly those over 50 say). But there are one or two I am struggling with.

Sad when your heroes die, though, but happy memories. One or two still with us are also now in very poor health.

Just 3 on the middle row I ay sure about, but I was only 7 at the time.
Is one of those called Lutton or something. 2 to the left of John McAlle and one to the right I ay sure about.
Not sure who the miserable looking blonde haired bloke is on middle row?

As above except the 3rd along next to Curran is Oldfield (not Boswell); and last on right top row is King John Richards!!!
Yes last on right bottom row is Gerry Taylor.

John Richards next to Holsgrove

And that's definitely Gerry Taylor

Can't believe I didn't spot JR ! Looks very young there...
(Was in two minds if it was Boswell or Oldfield but thought Oldfield was a bit bigger).

Can’t remember Wilson, next to Waggy but the rest are as stated I think. Definitely Oldfield next to Parkes.

Other posters have suggested names which have potentially filled in some blanks viz Lutton and Walker which seem about right. Not convinced goalkeeper is Boswell though who I think left in late 60s (mind you not sure of date of picture). Thanks.

If someone has got the will to carry this on could you have a go at the players in the Sammy Chapman photo as they really are a challenge?

Les Smith, was a Canadian utility player and he turned up at the Mol and asked for a trial, he was accepted and played a number of times.
I was working in Bristol on the M5, and worked was rained off, so as Wolves were playing West Ham that night I decided to go to "The Smoke" to watch the game, I must have been mad.
Anyway during the game Les gave away a foul and the ref started to talk to him, at the end of the lecture, Les patted the refs head and his Crown topper fell off into the mud, I think he was then booked, that is the most memorable thing I can remember about the night.
