For those of you who have probably never heard of him, played in the 40s and 50s mostly at right half. A cultured footballer, nicknamed "the panda". Knew him and his brother Alf, who also played for Wolves but wasn't a regular first team player, because they both lived next to my maternal gran.
R.I.P. Billy, you were a real entertainer.
