MGW is back in training today so it can't be him. He could be referring to the accumulation of injuries (Raul, Jonny, RAN, Marcal and maybe Saiss isn't fully fit), but it sounds like something new when he says "We still have some more problems, but I don’t want to give details because I want to keep it among us."

As @Wolf316 says above it might be one of Podence or Traore and not wanting to give Palace a chance to prepare. Hopefully whoever it is, it's only one player, and it's not Neto, Jose, Neves or Boly. I think we would really miss any of those.

It sort of implies injuries in the same area of the field. Obviously we have 3 LWBs (or LBs) unavailable, in Jonny, Marcal & RAN. Maybe it another, so one of Semedo or J Edgar?

To be fair, in the training video, no-one who played the majority of the game was involved. I'm assuming they would all be in the gym (recovery session) and the video shot on Thursday.

None of the players who started on Wednesday trained yesterday. Recovery sessions indoor normally. Just the subs and u23's were training outside from what I can see in that video. I have a feeling from Nuno's comments today that whatever the issues are it could result in a change in formation.

Do you know for a fact that "the manager (sic) decided to have a small squad"? If you do, you'll surely be able to show us all the proof that Nuno "decided" that, right?

What about this as an alternative explanation: financial constraints mean that the owners stipulated they wanted a head coach who was willing or even content to work with a small squad, because the club finances would not stretch to a large squad of players of the requisite quality for the EPL and ended up plumping for Nuno as someone prepared to work within such small squad constraints? Seeing as you're so adamant its not that though, you'll also be able to show proof that this is not the case, right?

Could you imagine that! No way Raul will play though. Jonny? Never say never. His meeting with his specialist was this week to give him the go ahead. Still think it may be too soon for him yet though.
