I know I'll have a tear in my eye come kick off, nothing I thought I'd ever see was us making Wembley, how I'd love to make that journey again in May.

This is a fantastic article which closely mirrors my own thoughts for tomorrow!

Myself, Ian, Nathan and my dad have watched frustrating, occasionally inspiring but mostly mediocre football for most of our lives.

Those that love football will know that it’s more than the ball being kicked around, it’s the banter and friendship, real ale and chips, superstitions of a otherwise atheist!

Tomorrow Ian, Nathan and myself will go to the football in person, my dad will attend on a chain around my neck.

We will have a day to remember, whatever the result....travel together, eat together,!drink together, hopefully cheer together but undoubtedly create memories to last a lifetime!

At 4pm I will look skywards to the stars and say a special thank you to my dad for introducing me to Wolverhampton Wanderers!

C’mon me babbies!

He's done another feature about Wolves for today's Soccer Saturday. He went to visit a Wolves fan in Norway who has his own Wolves museum. Should be a good watch.

Superb article yet again.

Yes, we may have been a ‘rich’ club for the best part of 30 years but we have not had genuine success for a nearly 40. The disappointments and false dawns, the heartbreak and the ridicule from our most hated neighbours being thrown in our faces season after season.

Win or lose tomorrow, 7th, 8th or 10th in the league our time has finally come.

This is the time of my life as a Wolves fan at 40 years old and I’ve seen it all believe me, not Chorley though...

I am fortunate that my Dad is still here to see to see this and also that my son at 13 can see it too, it must be unbelievable for him.

Come on me ****ing babbies...

One of the best sports' writers around and even better in that he is a Wolves' fan.

Jan 30th 1965 a FA Cup tie against Rotherham was my first ever Wolves game (2 shillings {10p} entrance and 6d {2.5p} programme!!!). Little did I think that 54 years would go by before I would visit Wembley to see my team, my first love, play an FA Cup tie. Johnnie sums up my emotions perfectly in his fabulous article.

Agree, the last paragraph is a wonderful finish to the article.

"Everything that flashes before our eyes – the Bhattis, Bully, Scarborough, Sir Jack, John McGinlay, the Millenium Stadium, Kightly and Jarvis, Johnson and O’Hara, 10K2MK, and so much more. It is about being Wolves."

If you want the full blart, read it whilst watching Wolves Babble review of last season in the background.

Beautifully written, and from the heart. He knows Wolves' history and it shows. Of course the result tomorrow matters, but for me it's more the fact that we can compete at this level now, regardless of whether we win or lose. We know there will be more days like tomorrow, that's the important thing.
