I'm guessing there are no adequate alternatives to ONeil, Hobbs must have been tasked with sounding out replacements for Lopetagui, but as soon as he's told them the financial constraints only GON said he'd step in and be up for doing it! Its obvious we can't spend big contractually, pay cpmpo to get a manager out of a job or that the club are keen to offer the next manager a long contract. I reckon GON will be on a year's deal.
I'm guessing the contract with GON is pretty much signed, I dread to think what grade of manager we'd be scratching about if he suddenly had a change of heart/got cold feet.
