On the training video Gomes’ training top and shorts have number 8 on them.

It doesn’t necessarily have to mean he’s getting the number.
But the fact that last season he had 35 (3+5=8!) does point to that being his preferred number??
I expect he will get it.

All I can think of is that not knowing who’s coming or going can maybe influence immediate shirt sales? It’s a much more transitional pre season than normal so maybe they want a few players in and the outgoings out first.

Colour clash at Old Trafford 1st game then as the Red away kit will obviously be worn if we’re awaiting the above. Haha.

Looks real to me. Tags and "castore" on the internal piping and label bottom left.

You can see a bit more detail on this pic, seems to have a nice texture to the fabric and the pinstripes seem to be more a pattern in the fabric than a stripe. Looks really nice.

Looks real to me. Tags and "castore" on the internal piping and label bottom left.

You can see a bit more detail on this pic, seems to have a nice texture to the fabric and the pinstripes seem to be more a pattern in the fabric than a stripe. Looks really nice.

Good points, although the giant Castore logo on my waterproof hoodie is slightly wonky if you look close enough - you'd never notice when wearing it, only on the hanger.

And that retailed at £160!

When I bought the first Adidas home shirt, it took me 25 minutes to find a shirt with a straight sponsor.

They then tried to give me a shirt in a bag as opposed to one I'd handpicked! I made it very clear I was having the shirt I found.

I had the same problem.I bought mine in the Dudley St store .I went through the rail before I found one that was perfect .I went to pay but was handed a pre-wrapped one .I went outside and opened it only to find the club badge was hanging off.I went back in and had to queue up .They handed me another which I opened in the shop only to find the sponsor’s logo was also hanging off.
I could see the one I had selected hanging on a rail and I asked if I could have that one but was told they were for display purposes only .
Luckily the next one I was given was fine .

It looks like a Wales kit, or Liverpool. Seeing it worn in-game on the match gallery, it's awful.

Honestly now,can see us wearing the red shirt for majority of the games. Remember when Cardiff did this when they got took over about10/12 years ago and changed their blue strip to red because of the Chinese superstitions?
Stranger things have happened.
