What is happening with Jody. I know he was not going to be involved in the pre season but nothing has been said about him since.
Has he just been signed in oreder to give him a testimonial or is he supposed to be a serious player. If so why not involved yet?
With today's news that Jody has had surgery to repair his hamstring and won't feature again this season, I am guessing there is a good chance that he will never get to wear the famous Old Gold again.

I'd sack Mick now and appoint Jody as caretaker manager until the end of the season. Jody knows the players and the club, and is an intelligent guy. He wouldn't be given any money but I think he'd make a better fist of team selection than Mick. He certainly couldn't be any worse.
