We talk about Neto and his fitness record.
But really, the knee cap thing was a bit of a freak injury with ,as far as I know, no long term effect. Plus a few niggly hamstring strains. It’s not like he’s Sasa!
You mean niggling hamstring strains that result in him missing weeks of action.

I think he played afew games since summer then he spat his dummy out again and now he has been dropped from the team.
He’s gonna be setting up camp at Compton by the sounds of it

Guys. He is showing great commitment to joining wolves. We should offer a loan with a view again.

It's interesting that Wolves didn't go back for him in January when it looks like the club would have been open to our offer. Did we think better of it, think we could find better in the summer? or put off by the way he acted since or his injuries?

Also worth noting that his club are almost certainly going to be relegated from Serie A and will likely need to sell.

Depends on the fee and wages..... Included in a Neto deal l wonder?
Yeah you’d think that’s possible.

Hadn’t thought about his wages, could be a stumbling block. The lad will surely be desperate to go somewhere he’s likely to play, so our lack of other natural central strikers would hopefully make us an appealing move.

If you believe internet sources he's on £100k/week.

They wanted an upfront fee in the summer when we offered a loan with a buy option, that wouldn’t have changed in January you’d imagine as it’s the same accounting period (I.e. we’re still skint and they wanted a guaranteed fee).

Got to be wary when buying younger (not so young actually) players from teams like Arsenal and Liverpool. They can slot in and look very good in the well oiled machines of their parent clubs but actually aren't as good as that makes them look in reality.

This can be very true. But they can also look terrible there, then go on to have very productive PL careers (like Solanke).

Disagree.
If we could only sign one player it has to be a 9.
Even if you stick to your desire to play a back 4.
regardless of playing a back four the current back line simply switch off too many times leaving players free be it 3 ch or 2ch

we simply cant only sign one player, the squad isnt deep enough to do this

Sell Neto, then we need a fast paced CB, a no9 and a replacement for Neto. That's bare minimum for a summer outlay I would suggest. But it's going to be a stretch to cover all that if money is still tight.

We’re getting linked to Nketiah now.
Would be a good signing I think,

Oh god no!!!!!

He is a wasteful striker! He misses so many guilt edge chances in a side like Arsenal……

They have wanted rid for sometime! Hope we aren’t the ones dumb enough to take him because he can run around and press from the front…….

In the absence of no striker, I'd happily take one with proven goalscoring ability in the PL.

Averages a goal every 210 minutes of PL football, despite starting very few games.

People have kittens with hwang, they will lose their minds when they see how wasteful and frustrating he is and the cost differential between the two!

His finishing is very poor for the number of chances he gets.

There are plenty of others that could be moved on to raise funds. Fabio, Podence and maybe Guedes plus fringe youngsters.

Wouldn't worry. More chance of signing Eddie the Eagle under Fosun these days.
