Gomes belongs to Braga, but is currently having a loan spell at

Rodrigo Gomes rumours continue to bubble. Interestingly, he plays as a right wing back for them.

For free I'd take Adams and maybe Welbeck as depth options. I know Welbeck is getting on a bit but he seems to keep himself in good shape and would offer more off the bench than we currently have.

this is a good point. We have Guedes and Podence who have the capability if not the attitude to make an impact.
