Honestly no. Clearly he's out of contract in the summer and now missed the chance to become a free agent and sign for someone across the majority of Europe (Portugal included), so I guess he'll see his contract out.

There are still a few countries open (inc. Saudi & the US), but I can't see it.

Never say never but I also can't see him getting much if any game time in the u21s as that would completely go against what we normally do at this time of year and start to push the lower ages up.

Another set of wages we can save on. Imagine he's on a relatively decent amount (at least 10k pw) that could be put into some more youth talent
