He’s going to be hard to replace whoever we bring in. If we get anything over €70m be an amazing deal. For us Mendes and keeping the champions sweet. We can maybe take another one of their youth products? Doyle wasn’t bad either
Think this is spot on and considering our position the correct way of doing things.

City and Chelsea have stockpiled some serious young talent if we can get some in while receiving a good payday aswell every year we'll be fine for the foreseeable and become a genuine top half prem side

Can a new striker be given the 9 shirt? Or does that technically remain Silva’s ?

So have we signed this Gomes then or is it still just speculation currently, I always worry if there that good why hasn’t a higher end prem team come in for him, also until it’s signed it ain’t a done deal is it?

Teams rarely scout for players anymore, they just see who other teams are interested in on social media

I still want that central attacker to replace our Number 9 - the one loaned out to Rangers.

That’s okay then …. Move him on then mid season just when we’ve got some momentum going on which he can only improve …..
Chill out, Neto came out weeks ago saying he had no interest in moving till the summer. The big clubs will agitate through the media, but its not worth getting your knickers in a twist over.

Also as long as we make a good profit on him that's the important part. Not when he leaves, as that's a given!

If Citeh come calling its going to be hard for him to turn down the move if they can agree a deal. He wont kick up a fuss like that other rat, but i could see us letting him go if the money is right.

BBC gossip today

Liverpool and spurs want Hwang who’s recently signed a new deal lol. Urm yeah good luck with that one. Tightest two clubs out of the big 6.

Hopefully we put a big price tag on him. £70m

It says they want him in the summer not in Jan. Can see him going for a Jota size fee but not sure why Liverpool want another forward, unless Salah is off to Saudi perhaps.

If you watched any recent Liverpool games and the shambolic finishing ability of Darwin nunes you will know why Liverpool want another forward.

Salah will likely go to Saudi.
Though I still can’t think Hwang will be their target.

Wolves

What do they need? This feels like a recurring theme from many previous transfer windows for Wolves, but a proven No.9 and a winger remain the top priorities. Wolves desperately need a poacher to put away the many chances they create while they only have Pedro Neto as an out-and-out winger.

Who could they sign? Wolves have already missed out on Viktoria Plzen striker Rafiu Durosinmi, who has joined Eintracht Frankfurt, due to issues around player agent fees. They remain in the market for a striker and could revisit a deal for Southampton’s Che Adams. Danny Ings at West Ham has been discussed in previous windows but a move now is unlikely. Funds, however, are limited and loan deals are most likely.

Who could they sell? After selling over £140million worth of talent in the summer, Wolves are desperate to avoid the departures of more first-team stars. Fabio Silva has already joined Rangers on loan, and there could also be exits for fringe players Jonny Otto (permanently) and loan moves for Sasa Kalajdzic and Joe Hodge.

Anybody else really relaxed about this window? The way I see it is GON and Hobbs have a great working relationship, know the areas they want to strengthen and know the price range they’re operating in. If deals get done then they will be the right deals, if they don’t then they weren’t for us.
