Looked more like a deliberate tactic to take the sting out of the game to me.Get the impression we thought we just needed to turn up. Our lot need a good kick up the **** as we're lucky to be 1 up.
Playing well within ourselves. They are all huff and puff. Pick them off
PE teacher and chancer. Oh wait a second……….This is back to the ****e GON served up when he first took over
While I would normally agree, they were breaking us down pretty easy at the start of the game. We cleaned up a bit around halfway through the half and their forward movements didn't lead to much of anything. But I can't imagine they're happy with the two headers placed right at Sa.People seem to be underestimating the need to stay compact and professional that first half hour or so. Then try and step up through the gears as the game goes on. Not great on the eye sometimes but fully understandable.
Scoring first was absolutely huge for us too.
Bingo. We usually lose these games somehow. We're up, that's enough for me right now.Win by any means, we are not playing well but if our name is in the hat at the end of the day I will be happy.
Yep****ing hell. We’re playing a BCD at the Poorthorns, a ****ing bogey team supreme, and we’ve largely controlled the game after the first 5-10 mins, and we’ve scored from a fast break and lovely finish. Jesus wept this forum at times.
One bad half and they crawl out of the woodworkPE teacher and chancer. Oh wait a second……….
I thought they looked quicker and more incisive in the final third. Had us back peddling and chucking in blocks and stretched tackles a fair few times. Good job their finishing is poor.If we upped our pace we could get 3 or 4 second half. They are really poor. Our class is telling but we need to stamp our authority on the game. COYW!
It’s nerves mate. Take nothing for granted.
Obviously trying to take the sting out of them...and it's worked so far.Apart from a moment of Neto magic on the counter, a boring meh performance. Slow slow and slow. How many times were Wolves players just standing around.
Still, one nil up and with bragging rights at half time.
Mmm, RAN definitely at some point.Ait Nouri for Bellegarde at about 60, then Chirewa for Doherty later would be my shout for subs
...or what Mutchy said haha.Looked more like a deliberate tactic to take the sting out of the game to me.
Well you obviously think we are playing well so good luck to you****ing hell. We’re playing a BCD at the Poorthorns, a ****ing bogey team supreme, and we’ve largely controlled the game after the first 5-10 mins, and we’ve scored from a fast break and lovely finish. Jesus wept this forum at times.
Just needed a run of games. He's class. My imagination or does Tommy Doyle get better game by game?
I think they looked nervous, Cunha and Neto in particular.Looked more like a deliberate tactic to take the sting out of the game to me.
Absolutely. The lad up front for them is decent. We’re going to need to get another the **** look like they’ve got a goal in them.
Cant argue with any of thatBellegarde just cannot get into games playing in this role. Cunha too little desire to hurt the opposition, content just to "float around" to minimal effect. Such a shame that Hwang is absent and we decided we could loan Sasa out. The rest of the team doing well enough.
Not a very good half of football, but Neto makes all the difference once again. We look a bit vulnerable at the back though, they've been able to cross the ball a bit too easily at times, so it won't be an easy ride form here on in. We need to avoid just trying to manage a 1-0 win though, we can hurt them... but only if the other attackers actively start trying to do so.
