Ooh, fingers crossed eh. We could really do with him in, the lad looks PL ready. Wouldn't it be good to have the three of Kilman, Elvidi and Dawson (with Toti, who I like but don't rate massively) competing for the two positions. All good central defenders and quality enough for a top half side I reckon.

I too think wolves will invest but they want to have money in first and if they get Podence, Bolla, Jordao and Jonny out in the next week or so I think we start to see some movement.

I can see us spending in the region of 40/45, but I think they want to raise at least another 10 in sales before it happens.

Yep, there is being short on funds and there is being tight as a nuns ****. Surely they must appreciate that some effort must be made to try and keep a competitive team?

Really concerning. I am not sure what is going on currently. Seems very confusing how about a week ago it seemed we were heavily progressing with the negotiations for both Elvedi and Scott. Fast forward to now we can’t afford creswell let alone those two. I still have a belief all this may be a plan from the club, in order to give us the upper hand in negotiations. Ie making Bristol city believe we do not have the financial means to meet their asking price therefore they will be more inclined to accept our original offer.

I think he is bang average personally, and you could argue that he looks better internationally because Southgate is risk averse.

You could argue that. Equally you could argue that Maguire (and Southgate) have been part of teams that have reached Semi finals and Finals major international tournament…

You can prove anything with facts…

Actually, I will bite on ‘bang average’. He is so clearly a very good footballer. You don’t do the above and play for a top 6 side for years on end as a ‘bang average’ footballer. Max Kilman is a ‘bang average’ premiership central defender (as is Craig Dawson).
