You don't need to care about eSports. It's been explored to help the football team at the end of the day as another source of income.
it`s being used to promote Fosun sports group of which Wolves will become a smaller and smaller partYou don't need to care about eSports. It's been explored to help the football team at the end of the day as another source of income.

It makes money for us, that is why they have invested in it. The myopia on here is unbelievable.I mean it was pretty cool seeing our Wolves logo at the MSI finals (EG made the final 4) but E-Sports is a money drain too so would much rather it spent on the football team.
Except eSports is good for the Wolves brandOnly sensible reaction would to bully the kids online that watch eSports. So we lose all the sponsorships and they give up on it.

The big problem is that I hate this aspect of football. I hate Man Utd's official tractor sponsorship (genuinely exists), I hate everything to do with modern football.
Sadly...I quite like eSports(!) Even though I suck
You'll be surprised to know professional footballer players play these games online on a platform called TwitchJust the wording of "e-sports" irrationally annoys me. It's computer games/gaming, not a sport. Nerds and screens (no porn) would be just as apt a description.
How much does it make, is it significant - - we keep hearing about it?It makes money for us, that is why they have invested in it. The myopia on here is unbelievable.
Not surprised at all seeing as I used to be into PC gaming, and an ex girlfriend was a member of a rather large girl gaming clan, as they called themselves. I still don't regard it as a sport though. You'll be surprised to know professional footballer players play these games online on a platform called Twitch
Pretty sure Pique plays fifa online, even people like Snoop Dogg or whatever his name is these days play the American football game on there.
Theres a lot of money to be made even at a low level which is crazy and the nerd's jab is very old fashioned to say the least. Is it a sport maybe not? but in the same light is horse racing - the horse does all the damn work! thats the agrument I have with my wife all the time
e sports is only going to grow and especially as VR becomes more advanced.
If its good for the club why not nobodys asking you to follow it.
My question as well..How much does it make, is it significant - - we keep hearing about it?
I would like to see such proof. The way I see it is the only way wolves will make money is by people seeing our branding, getting an interest in the club and then buying merchandise. It's been explored to make money for Fosun, where are the accounts to prove the money if any goes direct to the Wolves ?
I keep hearing this. Has a figure been put on itYou don't need to care about eSports. It's been explored to help the football team at the end of the day as another source of income.
Do e sports "players" compete against others while others watch?Just the wording of "e-sports" irrationally annoys me. It's computer games/gaming, not a sport. Nerds and screens (no porn) would be just as apt a description.

Such an ignorant way of looking at it
And yet they can. I have no interest in them whatsoever, but tourists do! In 2017 Brand Finance did a report that estimated they bought in £1.7bn that yearIt's all a bit like the Royal Family. We're told its existence benefits the country financially, but no one can really substantiate that in a quantifiable manner.
you forgot to say FACTNo, it's competitive gaming. Nothing more than that.
