Coady has been really really good this season. Awful today but he's come on a lot. Now - whether or not we can ever become a front foot team playing three at the back? There's a question worth debating.

I will always love Raul. I still think he'll come good.

As for Dendoncker, meh. He's a nothing player.
Don't think we will ever see the Raul before his injury again. His personality has changed as well from what I can see.

Oh and my verdict.....One word.

Disgraceful.

Or two words.

****ing Disgraceful.

I thought Jonny was also unusually complacent when he came on. Would explain it if true.
He didn't look fully fit to me. Was struggling to sprint back.

I like most just can’t believe the difference between the first 3 games to pretty much everything else we’ve served up this season. Was Lage so concerned with our finishing that he abandoned it or was it just the players being up for a new season? If it’s the former and he backed down from his methods so easily then maybe that shows his character? Yes we had no points but we weren’t going to keep missing guilt edge chances surely. It really was a joy to watch.
Absolutely. It seems a general opinion was the 0-2 loss to Brentford was a turning point away from his attacking philosophy. Large mentioned our lack of goals when he took over and mentioned it again a couple of weeks or ago. Maybe the players and Bruno lost belief after those 4 early defeats. Or the players are mentally weak when the pressure is on, which might be why they’ve not performed since being in with a real shout of European football. The surprise is that we’re still 8th!

Every cloud and all that, thank god we’re not in Europe, how embarrassing could’ve that turned out to be, bullet dodged I reckon?

However, not that I’m into conspiracy theories but maybe that was the plan all along to avoid serious investment?

Only Jeff and cohorts can answer that!

If this result and performance doesn’t prove to FOSUN that we require a massive shakeup to the squad they can sell up!

We have been abject against Leeds (second half), Newcastle, Burnley and now mighty Brighton. No goals in 315 minutes and hardly any shots on goal.

Bruno has some explaining to do about yet another awful performance. Tell it like it is please Bruno because your job is very much on the line!

Yet on their forum, it's not that different to here. Many fans want him gone. Apparently they have "lucked there way to 9th" and will be in big trouble next season. Some are asking for him to be replaced by a "proper 20 goals a season manager" :D
I've gone on their forum and viewed the latest few pages on the Potter thread. And no, they by-and-large don't want him out. One melt said they lucked their way to 9th.

Fall out in the camp explains it we have players undermining the manager. Sounds like turmoil clear the decks or bring back nuno??

I’ve checked out now for the season… start again in the summer. Don’t think Lage will last, as clearly it’s a repeat of his Benfica experience. The football we’ve played has been soo boring for ages! I’m starting to switch off from it. Such a shame!

Ps: I’m normally positive I swear!

I presume I'm just covering what people have said, but that was pathetic.

Men against boys. Physically we couldn't match them, that's something fans (I'm guessing reans has been on :)) have recognised for a long time about the midfield and the defence.

No pace, no athleticism and at this level it results in games like this.

Adama Traore missed again, obviously.

The fact these people running our club think we can build a team with nowhere near enough pace and strength is alarming. We were bullied.

today we would have been beaten by any of Mick’s team, TCs Team, Stale’s Team and even a Saunders Team would have probably got a draw. We were appalling, 3-0 flattered us, they missed a penalty and with better finishing could have had 2 or 3 more. We were slow, immobile and generally clueless. Brighton’s passing had zip and purpose, they bypassed our pathetic press with ease. Our passing was slow and generally side to side.

The subs were baffling. We needed subs but we should have taken Dendonker off who was a passenger. I heard Lage’s interview that he gambled on Neves and he wasn’t fit - wtf. It was obvious that Neto wasn’t fit and and RAN was blowing after 80 minutes. Hwang has the touch of a rapist, his second touch is a tackle. Silva actually showed good movement and some nice touches. Twice he found acres of space in the box for a pass but on both occasions Donk and Hwang made the wrong choice.

For a team pushing for Europe it was beyond pathetic. There are several players who are treading water, happy to fight to 40 points the. Go on the beach. We need a massive over haul.

As for the manager, he’s clearly out of his depth. We have lost our identity. What is our style, how do we intend to score, win games. For those who remember it’s like Colin Lee, nice enough, probably a good number 2 but clueless as a Manager. I would sack him on Monday and do a proper search for a proper manager. Scott Cooper at Forest has done a fantastic job, even Rooney has done well. I’m sure there are better Portuguese than Lage if Jeff wants to stick with the Mendes stable.

I genuinely don’t remember this?! Was it called up by the ref? I didn’t leave my seat the whole game (against my better judgement), yet have zero recollection of this.
Hilarious. Like an injured giraffe, both legs in the air, ball never made it on to the pitch!

I don't think it did happen. The ball was given as going out of play by the lino, but for my money (I'm not far off in line) it never came into play. I don't think it was given as a foul throw though (although to be fair I was well past caring!).

They just won 3-0. Go back a couple of months. I wonder what they'd call those here who say we've lucked our way to 8th?

They didn’t care one iota, plodding around like lost sheep. Get rid of saiss he’s w*** and get rid of bolly he doesn’t care In any game now. That would be a decent start.

I’m going to sound like Roy Keane here.. but.. before the game when the camera panned to the tunnel, Boly, Donk and Sa looked like they were queuing up to get into the a club.

So relaxed, might as well have been horizontal. I know some players respond differently, but surely you’re focused on the game rather than ****ing around in the tunnel pre kick-off.

I have: "It occurred to me today that a number of bigger clubs will be looking at Potter and thinking that, if he can get the type of football Albion play out of their world class acts, he's worth a punt at their next sacking."

I remember at the arsenal game when we were 1-0 up they kept showing the league table as it stands and it was scary but in a nice way,now without going through the reasons something has obviously gone wrong.don`t tell me we have become a bad side, the defence was solid, the midfield was lauded by many, including pundits and opposing managers and fans and we could nick a goal. The team now, and that is almost any eleven you pick is devoid of confidence, ideas, workrate and worst of all i think is togetherness.we seemed to be in it together but now there is little leadership and we look weak in all areas.Apologies if this is rambling and long winded but i had to say it and i am sure we are all hurting,as has been stated elsewhere a massive summer awaits,we MUST get it right

Hwang really?
I mean really?

Hwang was the only player that looked like creating anything out there for Wolves in the first half...... he was the least bad of a very bad bunch.

Commentator summed it up..... Wolves were abysmal!
If it was a one off it would be bad enough but its the worst of 3 really poor performances, when we supposedly had something to play for.

Wouldnt bother me if Bruno was sacked.....unfortunately I don't trust the current leadership to find an upgrade on him.

It was worse!

I'd also agree it was worse, one of the worst performances I've seen and a very restless crowd watching it really strange atmosphere today.

Think he already knows he has gone and so do the player's .

Why is this the third season, at least, when we cant find a player who can kick a dead ball ?
And why does Mouthino think he can score direct free kicks?? He’s scored four in a 19 year career. By comparison Ward-Prowse has scored four just this season.

Yes, he’s a very tidy footballer. One of the best at retaining possession in his prime. But a dead ball specialist he is not!

Indeed.
The Burnley loss was in an empty stadium and the season was over with nothing to play for.
