And we are throwing so many defensive bodies forward we look so weak to a direct ball or counterattack toti constantly out of position with ran nearly cf

Sarabia needs the ball and people to be moving.

How can you say he hasn't come to the party? We've literally played the whole game down the left, what's he supposed to do? Grab a magic wand and make the ball appear at his feet? lol

I’d probably bring Fraser off and push Sarabia up top bring on Traore and try to play through them with Doyle and Gomes with Lemina and Ait Nouri offering support to Pablo.

Lucky here so far. We’re too slow in possession and attack but our final ball and decisions in attack are woeful. GON needs to muster up a plan for the 2nd half. I know attack wise we’ve been decimated by injuries but we need to inject more speed into our attacks.

Yeah, I think Wolves actually created more just nothing definitive because we don't have any command in their box.

Coventry had two really good chances, but the rest of their chances weren't worrying.

Played some ok stuff in patches but just don’t have anything up top. Crazy that we’re having to play a not-match-fit 19 year-old who was going out on loan to League One in such a big game.

Doyle and Semedo (and Sa) have been good.

Fair play to Cov. They’ve given it a real go and have more of a threat up top than we do.

Yep- needs to find the right balance, if we keep getting caught on the break they WILL score.

We are lacking pace in attack. To be fair to Fraser he hasnt been given great service. Cant see us scoring unless something changes at half time. We have been very sloppy as well though. Central midfield disappointing and letting Coventry run through us far too easily.

Must do a lot better second half but the worry is where is the firepower?

Only good thing with that first half is that we are not behind scoringwise.
Coventry should be at least one or even two goals up at this stage.
Another "performance" like that second half and we can watch Wembley on the tele.
Awful lack of quality from us thus far.
God only knows what´s to come.

Just what we all thought would probably happen. A tense frustrating half where we've had a few chances but not really any proper efforts on goal, and lucky not to be at least 1 behind. It's not Frasers fault as he's still so young, but we so desperately need someone with presence and experience up front. Hopefully things will be better 2nd half, although I imagine it'll be more of the same - fingers crossed we nick it with a goal from one piece of quality...

We've really not been that bad and could be winning this if we didn't have Fraser up top. Cov had the better last 10, for sure.

What's the difference between a top championship team and a mid table prem team - normally the quality of the attackers taking half chances. We have the best part of £150m of attacking talent in the treatment room and it really shows. We are lucky to be still in this, but we are because of their championship finishing.

We have nothing up top, so it's going to have to be a quality interchange of passing type goal. We can do that, the question is what happens if we concede a goal, on this showing I can't see us getting back in it.

Big second half coming, and I am not convinced we are going to do it.
