While we wait for more news...click bait etc
I know we're all Wolves through and through but sometimes we choose a team anyways! even if we've never been to the country they play in!!

I'll go first:-

Juventus - goes back to Del Piero days and watching football italia on channel 4
Borussia Dortmund - my fifa team (when I played) and seem good bunch.
Barcelona/Athletico - Its between these two I always change my mind.

What we saying then?

A. Madrid absolutely love how they play as a team, and importantly defend as a team

Lyon, no idea why, just like watching them play and if possible will bet on their games just to watch them

Pretty much identical to this.
Although I've had an eye on Las Palmas last few years and going to Gran Canaria this year cemented that. Now they have Mir as well

Sampdoria - kit (and stadium)
Barcelona - kit and Ronaldinho
Dortmund- stadium (although have cooled on them since they became fashionable)
Rangers* - multi-colour stadium when I was growing up
Marseille - loved how their stadium looked in WC ‘98

*if we’re calling Scotland a big league

Chievo- Had a bet when in high school circa 2001 with an English Juventus fan that Chievo would finish higher in the league then Juventus. They did, been a flying donkeys fan ever since.

Hoffenheim- kept an eye out for there results ever since they got promoted and had that great season finishing near the top. Took Bundesliga by storm.

AC Milan because of the legendary teams of the late 80's and early 90's
Benfica because Isaias utterly destroyed Arsenal in a European Cup match at Highbury in 1991
Stenhousemuir because of the utter futility of Scottish League 2 football, like supporting Eddie the Eagle

Lazio. Goes back to probably 2003. I've been to see them.
I like Dortmund a fair bit but cannot call myself a fan.

I couldn't care less about anybody else in our or any other league and I genuinely can't comprehend any other perspective on that.

1. Juventus - because my big bro took me to Villa Park for Villa Juventus in 1983 and it was a hell of a night out
2. 1. FC Nuremberg (although they're Div 2 now, I think): I used to have to go to Nuremberg on business and I would take in the odd footie game there - massive 50k capacity stadium - love the city and friendly club in my experience.
3. It's on my bucket list to go to a River Plate game. Would just love to do that

I don't support any other team, but I do now and again look out for Schalke 04 results.Stemming from when we were in Gelsenkirchen and we visited their supporters club.Their fans were unbelievably friendly and did a lot to make our trip a memorable one.I even had a pin badge off the bar owner.

As a kid we used to go on holiday every summer to the Costa Brava which was Barcelona country and during that time they signed Cruyff which hooked me as I was football daft in those days. I also associate with the club’s attitude and politics - mes que un club - so it’s been Barca ever since.

I’m not really into teams in any other countries but do look out for the results of Stuttgart and Bologna as they were the first grounds I visited in the 88 Euros and 90 WC respectively.

Dulwich Hamlet - Unique atmosphere and club culture that makes it an enjoyable trip, gutted about was has happened to them, playing in Mitcham these days (groundshare with Tooting), so not much chance for a trip down to there, even though they’ve moved up a league.

Jumilla FC (see thread)

Real Madrid (seen them more often than Wolves I am truly embarrassed to admit)

And quite a few tie for third.
