Just in case it's of any use for those drinking around Liverpool Street but arent familiar with the area an alternative to the central line is the overground. Usually platforms 14-18 going to shenfield, Chelmsford, Gidea park, shoeburyness and sometimes a couple of other places that all stop at Stratford first.

Driving in on M4. Parking for free in West Kensington, as residents parking zones are free to use at weekends. District line to Whitechapel. Beers in the famous Old Blind Beggar pub, of Krays fame, then back on the tube, change at Mile End and Central line to Stratford. Can’t wait.

Flying back from France for this one. Parachute hired for premature exit from Ryan Air Boeing 737 en route to Luton airport. Glide down onto centre spot, strip out of parachuting gear to reveal me new Wolves top ... quick finger to the ****ney ****s before making a beeline to the away end.

Then again, I might just have to make do with MOTD.

Been in bed with flu all week, still feel ****e. In the expensive seats today with a client and 8 other West Ham fans, even though I could barely lift my head off my pillow two hours ago I'll be jumping around the Arnold Hills lounge like a loon if we score.

Luckily a 35 min train journey then 18 min tube via London Bridge for me so a local game but not going via Liverpool St at all so probably miss the fun. Enjoy!
