Last year, Wonder Boyo was top of the tree on consecutive weeks 29 and 30, both of those rounds shared with other winners; this season, Wolf In Wednesbury matches that feat with two awards in a row, but both of those are solo victories (which may or may not count for more, but is certainly more antisocial). It's Wednesbury's fourth win of a spectacular campaign, a third in seven weeks, and with his highest score in the competition so far of 42 - and, yes, it absolutely propels him fully into the title mix with two nerve-jangling weeks to go. Wednesbury hit four correct scores, two doubled, including Wolves' miserable 2-0 reverse against Man Utd and Torino's 1-0 victory over Verona.
NevesWolf collected three correct scores, two doubled, and was on for the asterisk hat-trick until Arsenal fell to defeat, finishing on 37 points, and Giantwolf sneaked into third place with 34, two correct scores and points from 11 of 15 fixtures, a feat matched by Don Corleone, who ended with 32 and two correct. The Wolf In The North finally returned to form with 33 points and three correct scores in a row on Saturday, but failed to add to it on a humdrum Sunday. SGWolves was the only other player to collect three correct.

Blast Tyrant posted a sixth 30+ score in eight weeks (31 this round) to extend his lead at the top back to 9 points, with Wonder Boyo managing 24 to keep him within touching distance, but it's Wolf In Wednesbury's remarkable surge - 110 points in the last three weeks, 14% of his overall total of 772 - that is making the headlines. Wednesbury is now 13 points behind Boyo and 22 behind Tyrant, and what seemed impossible a short while ago is suddenly feasible. Can he keep it up? Evthewolf falters a tad, and Giantwolf returns to the top ten.
